Franchise Valuations for all 32 teams.

How Healthy Is Your Team’s Foundation?
Not all 10-win teams are created equal. And not all rebuilds are destined to fail.

Roster and Coaching Staff
We evaluated rosters using a blend of performance grades including PFF, contract efficiency, blue-chip talent density, and rookie impact projections from Draft Stacks. Coaching staffs were assessed based on head coach and coordinator track records, in-game decision-making, staff continuity, and developmental footprint across position groups.

Front Office and Scouting
We evaluated scouting staffs and front offices by analyzing draft hit rates, undrafted free agent success, and alignment between personnel strategy and coaching philosophy. Additional weight was given to organizations with clear long-term vision, front office stability, and league-wide credibility.

Frequently Asked
Questions? Answers!
Find quick answers to the most common questions about the FV Triangle
What is the FV Triangle™?
The FV Triangle™ is a proprietary evaluation model designed to assess the foundational strength of all 32 NFL teams. It scores franchises across 12 key layers — from roster quality and coaching to analytics, development, cap management, and more — resulting in a single composite score out of 100.
What does “FV” stand for?
FV = Franchise Valuation. It’s our way of answering: How well is this team positioned for sustainable success — this season and over the next 3 years?
How is the score calculated?
Each of the 12 layers is scored from 1–10 using a combination of: Quantitative data (PFF, NFLPA, ESPN, OverTheCap, etc.) Subjective analysis (coaching cohesion, leadership, scheme fit) Draft Stacks evaluations (for rookie impact) Those layer scores are weighted and totaled to form an overall FV Score™ out of 100. It measures a team’s current organizational health while also signaling future trajectory. Teams that score highly tend to outperform expectations — even if their current win-loss record doesn’t reflect it yet.
Can I get a scorecard for my team?
Absolutely. You can: Download your free team-specific report by joining our newsletter Or purchase our Season Preview with deep-dive reports on all 32 teams. Full historical reports and quarterly updates will be available for subscribers. We’ll also be tracking each team’s FV Score™ progression across the season.
Who creates the scores?
All scores are curated and analyzed by Damon Wolfe, an independent NFL analyst, and creator of Draft Stacks. Every score reflects a blend of raw data, forecasting experience, and front office intuition — with transparent criteria available for each layer. The FV Triangle™ model integrates publicly available and licensed data from trusted industry sources including NFLPA Report Cards, ESPN Analytics (Seth Walder), PFF Roster and Draft Evaluations, OverTheCap contract data, and public play-by-play efficiency metrics (RBSDM). All analysis and scoring methodology are independently developed by In Motion Football.
